SYKLI spatial installation
Sykli was chosen as the winning concept of an installation competition for the students in The Lahti University of Applied Sciences, Institute of Design. The installation is placed at The LAB campus in Lahti, Finland.
The materials of the installation were carefully chosen. Together with integrated LED lights the installation has several layers that create a unique presence.
Sykli was designed together with Petteri Tuukkanen. In our design process Petteri created the concept, composition and shape of the installation. I worked with the materials and lights. I also took care of the manufacturing process including CAD drawings and 3D modeling.
